Our Story

Our journey began with a bold and transformative vision: to bridge the gap between pioneering research and the real-world potential of AI in engineering. Founded in 2020, Multiscale Technologies emerged from a deep-seated drive to push the limits of what’s possible in science, computation, and industrial problem-solving.

Our founders, Vasu Kalidindi and Dr. Surya Kalidindi, brought together a multidisciplinary team of engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts. This foundation of deep domain knowledge and technical rigor has been key to our ability to solve problems that conventional AI tools can’t touch—especially those involving multiscale behavior, limited or messy data, and physics-driven complexity.

From these roots, we developed the MIND Platform—a physics-informed AI system purpose-built for engineering environments. Unlike generic AI tools, MIND combines science, simulation, and machine learning to help teams run fewer experiments, reduce design cycles, and reach better outcomes—faster and with greater technical accuracy.

We believe that innovation doesn’t happen by playing it safe.
